Pink Link was a feature on Gaia Online.
Introduced at a time when Gaia's economy was growing, Pink Links were random events that gave users an extra 1000 Gaia Gold. They were seen when a forum topic was highlighted in light pink.
They were gradually phased on in 2007 as the site went though an overhaul.[1]
On August 1, 2011, pink links returned to Gaia forums in the form of a giftbox
On April 27, 2012, pink link giftboxes were updated and were given better pay out.
