[NPC] Mintaka & Rigel, known as The Twins, are Gaia NPCs. They are denizens of unknown location and the former shopkeepers of La Victoire.
Overview[]
Description[]
Mintaka & Rigel are adult female and male alien twins with white hair, light blue eyes, and pale white skin with a scale pattern. They both wear long white tunics with blue-green accents and matching boots. Mintaka has a ponytail and long sidelocks; her hair is decorated with star accessories. Rigel has neck length hair with downward white horns and a goatee.
They personify dragons with a constellation theme.
Personality[]
When first introduced the twins gave a standoffish attitude and were quite rude to their customers. It was years later that they reflected on themselves and asked for forgiveness about their early behavior.
Abilities[]
During their time as shopkeepers they had the ability to make various items sparkle.
Biography[]
The arrival[]
Mintaka and Rigel, along with their Kitten Star named Jet, arrived on Gaia to take their younger siblings back home. Their presence was made on May 3, 2010, when colorful sparkles began to cover various items around Gaia. Before that the Chance Item, Perfect Tragedy was released on April 20, it contained two SDPlus dolls wearing cloak that covered their faces, these items were later updated to reveal the twins.
Saiph & Hatsya refused to go and instead requested a challenge in order to get the right to remain on Gaia, the older siblings accepted. As Saiph and Hatsya put on a spectacular show and created sparkling items, Mintaka and Rigel pretended to be unimpressed by the display only to be told by Jet that their younger siblings had indeed won the challenge.
The older siblings disagreed with Jet and attempted to take them home by force. It was at that moment their father arrived (produced from Jet's mouth) and greeted his children. Upon hearing and seeing that they had been feuding, he decided that his eldest children would benefit from humanity by remaining on the planet for a while. Although there was protest and disappointment Saiph and Hatsya had an idea that would persuade their sister and brother to stay and occupy themselves and that was to get their own Gaia Shop, though in doing this Flynn was, for unknown reasons, transported to outer space.

- Mintaka also designated Delta Orionis (δ Ori) is a star some 900 light years distant in the constellation Orion. It "area or region" in Arabic.
- Rigel (β Ori) is the brightest star in the constellation Orion and the sixth brightest star in the sky, with visual magnitude 0.18.
