[NPC] Earl, formerly Carl, is a Gaia NPC. He is a denizen of an unknown location and the mascot of Valentine's Day.

Overview[]

Description[]

Earl is a male deity with black hair, black eyes, and light skin. He is small in body, hairy, and has white stylized wings and wears a pink sash around his bottom. His accessories include a single hoop earring in his left ear helix.

Personality[]

He was described by NPC:Liam as 'surly', and he appears to have a smoking habit.

Abilities[]

Flight - The wings enabled him to fly.
Archer - He carries a bow and arrow.
Messenger - He can deliver Private Messages to users.
Abilities seemingly those of the Greek deity, Cupid.

Biography[]

Earl's beginnings was being featured in February 2008 on the event landing page and announcement banner with Cupid.

NPC:Cupid is another putto that appears during events when Earl does.

Earl is a putto, a type of angel seen in biblical paintings as a chubby male child.
There has been on statement as to why his name was changed. The speculation has been the name 'Carl' was taken by the NPC:Carl the Elk.
