The Buttercup Café is a shop with a theme of Lovely floral arrangements and edible treats. It is owned and run by Rina, created with the help of Kanoko and Leon. It was announced on Gaia- July 28, 2010, 6:29pm. With Rina making the announcement in her Journal.
The creation of this shop was spawned from Rina's Dream 2K10 to open a cafe so she could chat with people during the Summer months. Together with Kanoko, Rina attempted to create and put her special touch into various confectionery. Eventually creating a [Rina's Strange Cupcake|Strange Cupcake] of sorts. Although she did her best, the cupcakes were less than edible, causing Gaians to be sour faced. So with the help of Leon, an entire new batch of confectionery was created and the shop was formed. As of now it appears the shop has officially replaced the [Barton Flowershoppe].
The new shop got its own stock of new items, as well as being stocked with food items that were previously in other shops.
