TOWN DIRECTORY[]
- Welcome to Barton Town. To navigate the world, either step on the arrow at the edge of each map... or click on the Directory button at the bottom center of the screen.
- This will show you the Town Directory and can be accessed from anywhere.
- Choose a GAIA zipcode by clicking on that block and you can get a detailed view of it.
- Click on the detailed view to take yourself directly to that map.

- My name's Ian. I run the Boutique in Barton Town with my buddy, Rufus, who happens to be a cat. That's him on my hat.
- Barton Town is a popular place. Everyone comes through at one time or another. So many, I can't remember everyone's name. Well, only the cute ones.
- Don't be shy, get to know the other people you see standing around. Click on them and they'll talk to you. Some of them never shut up!
- The girl in the yellow dress is Rina. She's kinda like our town hostess. Click on her for sure!
- The girl in the leather outfit is Moira. She comes from Durem, another town west of here. Moira can be kinda angsty, but hey, she's pretty cute. You'll see!
- The big dude in the armor is Leon. He's the security cop of Barton Town and makers sure that everyone is safe. He can be a drag, but walking around in that heavy armor all day has got to bring you down!
- Well, have fun exploring, and if you get lost just open Directory. Have a nice day and visit my shop sometime! Ever been waited on by a cat?
- Hello cutie! It's so fun running around here! You should try it! Just click in the direction you want to go. Whee~!!!
- If you get tired of running around and just wanna chill, you can sit down by clicking on the Actions Button on the bottom right hand corner of the screen. try it and come sit next to me! I'll join you and we can talk about something interesting -like me!

- I'm actually from Durem, but it's boring being in the same place all the time, so here I am.
- Angsty?! Who said that?! I'm not angsty. I'm just moody. There IS a difference.

- Anyway, what's wrong with expressing your emotions? That's what they're for! You should try it some time-- It's easy. Just click on one of the emotes on the emote bar at the top of the screen. Try a feeling on for size. Click the little arrows to choose from different sets of emotes. Give it a shot! Let others see how you're feeling. Even when you're angsty :)
- HOLD IT RIGHT THERE! Username and password please.
- Only kidding. We all know that GAIA administrators will NEVER ask you for your username and password. So keep that info safe and don't give it to anyone!
- I'm Leon and I guard this town from Evil and Disorder. What are you up to? Just looking around? That's OK. Lurking is legal here in Gaia. We call it larkin'.
- In addition to my security responsibilities, I run the Guild Hall over in the center of Barton Town. A guild is kinda like a club. If you want to join one, or even start one, come and see me at the Guild Hall.
