- The artist behind this item is "reapersun".
- The Orindae mentions Gaia NPC:

- This item had the first human companion to be released from an Evolving Item. The name Orin is a given name derived from Odran or Odhran meaning "pale green" in (Irish).
- NPC:Timmy thought the Orindae is one of the cutest creatures he ever saw and kinda wants one for a pet. NPC:Dr. Singh found it repulsive and half the time never wanted to report on the Orindae.
- Stage 6, 'Oh Sweet Mother Of-' evolution makes the Orindae the biggest item in that it takes up nearly all avatar space. After the item had finished evolving, bonus "improved" versions of evolution was added, with the 'Oh Sweet Mother Of-' and 'Where's The Frog' poses being behind the avatar instead of in front.
- It was speculated that the Orindae would evolve into a frog and then into a prince like the The Frog Prince (story).
