- The Hermes' Moon mentions Gaia NPC:

- During its release it was the most expensive Evolving Item to date.
- The story of the Rabbit in the Moon making Mochi is the Japanese version of the Man in the Moon.
- Stage 5, the rabbit in Autumni is pounding Mochi, a Japanese rice cake, which it later gives to its owner.
- Stage 6, the bunny styled mochi appears to be featured in the Chance Item- Midsummer Swirl, though this is not confirmed.
- Stage 11, the word "tsukimi" literally means moon-viewing, and refers on Japanese festivals honoring the autumn moon.
- The names of Hermes' Moon evolutions are named after Lacus lakes on the Moon. Lacus Somniorum means Lake of Dreams, Lacus_Veris means Lake of Spring, Lacus Aestatis means Lake of Summer, Lacus Autumni means Lake of Autumn, Lacus Hiemalis Lacus means Lake of Winter, Lacus Doloris Lacus means Lake of Sorrow, Lacus Mortis Lacus means Lake of Death, Lacus Spei means Lake of Hope, Lacus Temporis means Lake of Time and Lacus Luxuriae means Lake of Luxury.
- On April 26, 2010, Hermes' Moon: Aspiration was released into the Cash Shop, given Gaians to chance to own a Hermes' Moon EI or possibly a FAMESTAR 2000 Mercury Moon (chances were rare).
- When Hermes' Moon Luxuriae (cape),and Hermes' Moon Luxuriae (wing cape) is equipped to female avis, regardless of what is equipped (even if is the solely equipped item), the cape vanishes during the rearside view but will reappears once the avi either moves or is kneeling. This glitch also applies to Mercury's Moon Luxuriae (cape), Mercury's Moon Luxuriae (wing cape), Erebus' Moon Luxuriae (cape), and Erebus' Moon Luxuriae (wing cape) as well.
