Devoted Spica - Devoted Spica is a beautiful blue star with a heart as heavy as her enormous density would imply. Waiting thousands and thousands of millennia to see her celestial beau. Spica has had plenty of time to perfect the appearance of her celestial body. Hair shimmering with reflections of the cosmos, garments woven of glittering stardust, and a halo of mythical constellations, she is truly one of the brightest stars in the sky. Will she and Syrma ever be united, or will this emotional star collapse into a supernova of tears?

Trivia[]

  • These are the second set of Monthly Collectibles that feature a story about two lovers and also relate to one another by theme, the first set being Item:Layla and Item:Majnun.
  • This item has notable leg modification, altering the bottom avatars hips and feet.
  • The design and story behind this item may be loosely based on the song called "SPiCa" sang by Miku Hatsune the Vocaloid. The lyrics seem to be from the viewpoint of a celestial being (Spica the Star) pining for her lover (the one she's singing the song to) who she is separated from and cannot be with for some reason. Also, the artwork of Miku's outfit in the original music video of the song seem to reflect certain similarities with this item, such as the flowing ribbons, the theme of blue and white coloring, the seperate sleeves, the short, irregular skirt, etc.
  • The image displaying the monthly items on the avatars for the announcement of the monthly collectables also seems to hint at this. The farthest left avatar, modelling some of Spica's attire, is wearing a number of Vocaloid-based items, particularly that of Hatsune Miku's in blue.
