Although curious about the idea there was a negative reaction in believing the focus would be taken off Gaia Online and its own features.^[1] Another reaction was towards the idea of it being a Facebook "exclusive" feature.^[2]

The fact that the concept of the application only mentions Gaia in passing- had some concerns.^[3]
