A typical Christmas event on Gaia involves caroling by visiting Gaia Shops or Gaia Towns, the release of related items and participating in the sites main event. Christmas is considered a popular event for Gaians.
The Twelve Days of Christmas is an English Christmas carol that which enumerates in the manner of a cumulative song a series of increasingly grand gifts. On Gaia Online, 12 Days of Gaia was introduced in 2007 of December. A typical 12 Days event on Gaia involves signing into Gaia's homepage and receiving an item within certain hours, however, this has changed over the years. So instead Gaians have all day to click a graphic in the header to receive and item.
